The Neighbourhood Plan Committee have collated your responses and this Autumn will be working with Cambridge ACRE to analyse this feedback, discuss actions and advise on changes to the Plan in the light of your comments.

The pre-submission version of the Thriplow and Heathfield Neighbourhood Plan is being published in accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended) https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2012/637/regulation/14
The consultation period runs from Monday 30 January to Tuesday 14 March 2023.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to process anonymous comments for this consultation as this is a formal stage of consultation on the Plan before it is submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council/Greater Cambridge Shared Planning.
Comments received will be reported in a consultation statement which will be submitted alongside the plan. If you are responding on the behalf of an organisation, your name and organisation will appear too. The consultation statement will be made public.
On submission of the Plan, Thriplow and Heathfield Parish Council is required to share contact details of consultees (those that have commented at this pre-submission stage) with South Cambridgeshire District Council/Greater Cambridge Shared Planning so that they can discharge their legal duties in relation to publicising the submission of the plan, in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).
By submitting a consultation response at this stage, you authorise Thriplow and Heathfield Parish Council to legally collect and share your data in this manner.

It is a tool used at the plan-making stage to assess the likely effects of a plan on the environment when judged against reasonable alternatives.

The views of Natural England, Historic England and the Environment Agency were sought following the drafting of the SEA scoping report.

Habitats Regulation Assessment
In June 2022 and following a screening process, Greater Cambridge Shared Planning determined that, there is a potential impact between the policies in the Thriplow and Heathfield Neighbourhood Plan and protected species in the Eversden and Wimpole Woods Special Area of Conservation. An appropriate assessment was therefore undertaken of the draft Plan.
This assessment is described and reported in Chapters 4 and 5 of the SEA/HRA Screening Report, available at the link below. The assessment concludes that subject to recommendations being incorporated and Natural England’s review, the Thriplow and Heathfield Neighbourhood Plan is not predicted to have an adverse impact on the integrity of the habitats site, either alone or in combination with other plans and projects.
