One of the purposes of the SEA scoping report is to agree a methodology in undertaking the environmental assessment. The views of Natural England, Historic England and the Environment Agency were sought following the drafting of the SEA scoping report.

Habitats Regulation Assessment
In June 2022 and following a screening process, Greater Cambridge Shared Planning determined that, there is a potential impact between the policies in the Thriplow and Heathfield Neighbourhood Plan and protected species in the Eversden and Wimpole Woods Special Area of Conservation. An appropriate assessment was therefore undertaken of the draft Plan.
This assessment is described and reported in Chapters 4 and 5 of the SEA/HRA Screening Report, available at the link below. The assessment concludes that subject to recommendations being incorporated and Natural England’s review, the Thriplow and Heathfield Neighbourhood Plan is not predicted to have an adverse impact on the integrity of the habitats site, either alone or in combination with other plans and projects.
